Valentines Day 2015

Today, Dominika and I celebrated Valentines together.  We had our favorite food, lobster.  The lobsters were fresh and bought at the Asian market by the O2.  They have 3 different types of lives lobsters, as well as 4 types of live crabs.  These were 3.5 pounds together, so they were quite the meal for the two of us.
Since it is Valentines day, I was responsible for the cooking and purchasing.  I cooked the lobsters the old fashioned way, by boiling water with salt and old bay seasoning, and cooking them raw.  Thankfully I did not toss out the water (see later).
We whisked some butter and I made Orzo, which goes very well with Lobster (as I add a bit of melted butter to the cooked orzo, to keep it from getting stuck).  I chopped most of the meat out, the tail I cut up and the big choppers, I removed the cooked meat.  Excellent.
When we were done, I thought what can I do with some of the left over meat and shells.  Lobster Bisque, why not.  I found this recipe after reading a few of them, from the CIA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AseGRf37jz4
Keeping the water that I used to boil the lobster, I used this for the stock, and added some chicken broth to add richness.
I am still in the process of cooking it, while I write this, so I will let you know how it comes out.
