This is geeky

Hey,
I was commenting on John Divorak's blog, and actually received a response from him, on my comment. Here it is...
Original comment:
  1. The text is noted, that she said U.S. American’s and not us American’s. Actually, she is correct, since Americans include North America, Central and South America, but the censes is from the USA, so she is correct in her statement.

John's rebuttal.
  1. Daniel T. — Yeah right that’s the way we all refer to ourselves. U.S. Americans. Har.

As for the notion that just because the continents are called North and South America doesn’t mean anyone has adopted the term “American” but the citizens of the USA. Or am I missing something? When has a Brazilian called his or herself an American or even a Brazilian American. I just hate this bogus argument. I hope you were just joking.
